    Responsibilities

    • Initiate contact with consumer's via telephone to attempt collection of outstanding balances, assuring professional and positive experience toward resolution
    • Effectively communicating with consumers to obtain full payment of debt or establish acceptable payment arrangements
    • Meet or exceed daily, weekly and monthly performance objectives.
    • Resolve disputes
    • Escalate accounts for resolution when warranted
    • Performing skip-tracing efforts to obtain current location information

    This is a full time/40 hour per week position. The position will require working one late shift per week and four day shifts per week. We are looking for individuals that have previous experience in both education and state government receivables.

    Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or equivalency required
    • Previous Collections or Call Center experience required
    • Experience in both education and state government receivables preferred
    • Highly detail oriented, organized, and able to multitask
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
    • Proficient computer skills
    • Ability to navigate through internet resources available to locate consumers
    • Stable work history
    • Excellent listening skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally
